The FOSS4G is the leading conference for Free OpenSource Software For Geoinformatics. It gathers the OSGeo community : users, developers or simple curious. 700 to 1 000 persons are expected!

Ecology 2010, Montpellier 2/4 September 2010

NS will presents the projects ecoOnto and ecoRelevé, during the Conference Ecology 2010.

For the first time in France, an international Conference of scientific ecology will take place from 2 till 4 September 2010 in the Palais des Congrès (Corum) of Montpelier.

Launched to the initiative of networks ComEvol, EcoVeg, GDR Traits, JEF, PPD, and REID, this Conference has for objective to stimulate the scientific dynamics by gathering the various actors of the scientific ecology.

The scientific ecology is very alive in France, supported by numerous universities and several research laboratory.Numerous fronts of knowledge and current societal questions require the meeting of many themes.

Pocket eRelevé, mission Zembra

From 2 till 12 June 2010, team of Natural Solutions joined the initiative PIM to realize a mission of ground on the Tunisian island of Zembra, classified National park and Reserve of Biosphere since 1977.

The experts present on the island of Zembra, will handle in particular the updating of naturalists inventories of Puffins. The objective of this census is to go on more than hundred of GPS points covering the totality of the island.

We join the effort of the naturalists by equipping them with our Pocket eRelevé. Pocket eRelevé was chosen to assist them in the seizure and the export of the data taken during the mission. The observations are based on the remote sampling allowing to estimate the density of the populations.
